Windows Phone 8.1 review: The good, the bad and the ugly

Windows Phone 8.1 is here and with it a plethora of new features that ensure it can stand up against its Android and iOS brethren, including an Action Centre and the Cortana voice assistant. The update was released by Microsoft for developers and anyone who takes a few minutes of their day to enrol, which means this is the full shebang and not a pre-production version.
