Samsung Presents Ativ SE Windows Phone Handset

Samsung has unveiled a new Ativ SE Windows Phone handset lined up to replace the Activ S. The 2014 model is already available to pre-order through the Verizon network in the US with shipping due to start on 12 April.

Spring 2014 seems to have brought a flurry of Windows Phone smartphones. Nokia last week unveiled three new handsets (including the Lumia 930at its BUILD conference, all of which are due to run the updated 8.1 version of Microsoft's Windows Phone OS and are set to land in June. Samsung's new Ativ SE Windows Phone model is due to land ahead of Nokia's Lumias and will launch on Windows Phone 8 with an update to 8.1 coming in the summer.
