MacBook Air with Retina Display Release Date: Apple iOS 8 may Launch at WWDC 2014

If rumors are to be believed, the Macbook Air with Retina Display may soon see the light of day at WWDC 2014, less than two weeks away. Meanwhile, an Apple press release may have confirmed the launch date of the iOS 8 mobile software that will replace the current iOS 7.

 This week, Apple released the WWDC 2.0 app on a download page that has a screenshot of the schedule at the upcoming conference. Of interest is the Platforms State of the Union at 2:00pm, which is when Apple will likely be introducing its newest devices for 2014. The latest rumor from 9to5mac suggests that the Macbook Air with Retina Display will be making its first public appearance at this time, though this remains to be seen. Like many tech giants, Apple has always been characteristically tight-lipped about any internal-information prior to launch.
