Apple's upcoming mobile OS update, iOS 8, is not expected to be offered for the iPhone 4, Gotta Be Mobile reports.
The fourth-gen was discontinued in September in the U.S. and again this month in several other countries (including Brazil and India) and already experiences some issues with iOS 7 features, making it a likely candidate to be the next device too old to make the mobile OS update's list. Jailbreak hacker and developer i0n1c adds that the iPhone 4's discontinuation is "a good indicator for iOS 8 not supporting iPhone 4 anymore."
